  • Leadership in Society

    - Case studies on discrimination & empowerment
    - Designing a youth advocacy campaign
    - Safe & responsible activism training
  • Community Leadership Project (30+ hours) o Students design, manage, and lead a complete initiative Examples:
    • Anti-bullying ambassador programme
    • Diversity, inclusion, or sustainability campaign
    • Community skills workshop for younger children
    • Youth newsletter or podcast
  • Speech Contest o Competitive speech (5–7 minutes) on:
    • Equality & diversity
    • Youth empowerment
    • A community issue 
    • Judged by teachers, local leaders, or professionals
  • Career & Apprenticeship Preparation
    - Understanding apprenticeship pathways
    - CV writing & interview skills
    - Guest speakers from industries
    - Networking 101 (how to speak with professionals)
  • Work Experience (20–40 hours) Possible placements:
    Local businesses
    - Council/government offices
    - Charities & NGOs
    - STEM or creative industries
    - Media, sport, hospitality, retail
  • Organisational Visits & Leadership Masterclasses 
    - Parliament/government
    - University faculties related to student interests
    - Media or tech companies

Gold Achievement Task

  • Lead a full independent advocacy or community project
  • Complete 30+ hours volunteering/work experience
  • Present a 10-minute keynote speech at the final Celebration Event
  • Submit a Leadership & Advocacy Portfolio
